Who I am

phoskee.dev is Jacopo's personal website. For any question about this page or your data, write to info@phoskee.dev.

In short

The site has no accounts, sells no data and uses no advertising or profiling cookies. It only stores what you choose to leave (a message, a photo, a note, a shared mortgage) and the technical minimum it needs to work.

What I store when you leave it

Messages: the text, your name if you write one, the language and the date. They are public in the Messages app.

Photos: the photo you publish from the Camera, already resized and stripped of metadata (EXIF and GPS location are removed in your browser before upload). It is public in the Camera Roll.

Shared notes and mortgages: what you write, note attachments and, if you set a password, only a fingerprint of it (never the password). Anyone with the link can see them.

What I store to protect the site

To curb spam and abuse on messages, photos and notes I store a fingerprint of the IP address computed with a secret (SHA-256 hash): it lets me count how many messages come from the same connection, but not recover the address. The IP address itself is not stored.

The bot check is Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the request without showing you anything and without tracking cookies.

What stays in your browser

The mortgage budget and the list of notes opened on this device live in your browser (localStorage) and never reach the server, unless you choose to share a mortgage.

Technical cookies: the theme chosen in Settings and, for password-protected notes and mortgages, the key that saves you from typing it again (30 days). None of them is used to track you.

Analytics

Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, in aggregate and without cookies: no profiles, no persistent identifiers.

Where the data lives

The site runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1 database and R2 storage, in Western Europe). Cloudflare processes the data on my behalf as the infrastructure provider.

For how long

Messages and photos stay until I delete them. Shared notes and mortgages stay until someone with the link (or the password) deletes them. You can always ask me to delete something you left.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete data about you, or object to its use, by writing to info@phoskee.dev. If you think your data is being mishandled you can contact the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
